What wax / sealant do you use?

Just got an 09 TL. Used Zaino products to seal and protect. Has anyone else used this? Car looks great! Especially the inside with the leather in a bottle.

Welcome to AcuraZine. This is better in the Wax & Wax section.

Congrats on the purchase.

Wow, loaded question........Your going to get a lot of preferences, and thats really the difference. People prefer products which are easy to use #1, look great #2, economical #3, and lastly, promise what the label promote, durability. I mention durability lastly for the simple reason most folks on here are a little obsessive when it comes to surface protection, and applying an additional layer of protection and/or slickness is really no big chore these days. Hence, durability is brought up last.
Some of my favorites, Four Star Ultimate Paint Protection, aka UPP, Duragloss 105, Finish Kare 2180 Polymer Protectant, einszett Glanz Wax, and if you prefer paste wax, Finish Kare Pink Wax.
Some of the lessons I have learned over the years of detailing is, if its not an easy product to use, you'r not going to continue using it. And if you dont continue using it, the surface is left unprotected. Bottom line, use products which are user friendly!

I've used Zaino-good stuff. But I think you'll find that Zaino works best when no paint correction is needed. If non is needed, you'll like your results with Zaino.

I use Zaino. Did a complete detail back in July and still looks great with a nice shine (when clean!). Will probably try to put a few more coats on before the winter hits.

I was using Klasse sealant before. Just bought a whole new set of detailing materials and picked up some Black Fire Wet Diamond.

If you're looking for durability, Zaino Z2 or Z5 with ZFX is the longest lasting sealant I've ever used 4-6 months in the right conditions plus you can layer it without waiting 24 hours. It's expensive though.

However, like many of the posters in this group, I find myself wanting (or is it obsessively needing?) to re-apply sealant before it actually is worn off. I found myself not being able to wait until the Z2/Z5 plus ZFX to wear off before I put on another layer. Exceldetail's recommendation of Four Star Ultimate Paint Protection (UPP) got me to try it and have not looked back since. Awesome stuff! While it doesn't have the durability of Z2/Z5 with ZFX, it has a deeper more carnauba look to it AND I get to satisfy my obsessive compulsion to wash/"wax" more often .
