What do you use to refresh your dash?

My 05 TL seems to have a case of the white blems on the dashboard even though my car is garage kept. I also use a sunshade when parked outside. I'm afraid to apply something that i might regret. Not into anything shiney. I just want to make the grey dash look grey again.
This pic shows a little of what i mean...

Was i putting too much on?

Did you spray it directly onto the dash?

the best thing i found was Lexol.. Lexus suggests it and Acura as well... there's no shine to it at all... Also get the Lexol leather conditioner. To keep the leather looking rich and everything.. It gives it alil shine... I hardly use it though.. only the Lexol Wipes... It's in a orange bottle...

To refreshen your dash I suggest you try Back to Black or Black Again type products. I have used them on my Porsche whale tail. They restore the "blackness" and sheen without any black dye or silicone. Most have UV protectants in them in order to protect from sunlight.I just picked up my 06 Anthracite and Parchment 6 speed and notice some blemishes on my dash.

i don't spray 303...i always mist it onto a MF towel (while away from the vehicle)...then wipe it on and buff off to a nice matte finish. if you spray it there will be droplets everywhere...if you don't see them at first you will when the sun hits it the next day, etc.

clean w/ a wet MF towel first...wipe dry...then the 303 and you are set.

I put the 303 onto a MF applicator, apply, and then wipe off after a couple of seconds with a dry MF towel. No shine, no spots, no problem!

Exactly what I do.

Why would you spray anything on your dash anyway? The spray just gets up on the windshield...

I don't like the dash having a shine. Is Lexol something you can buy from an auto parts store? And what is 303? I haven't been too up on the detailing supplies lately!

I actually like to use a wet/wrung MF when I do it...........Tends to keep and sheen down, and also ensures better coverage...

Lexol can be found a most auto parts stores, but I've found the best price to be at HomeDepot. They now have a auto/truck section.

303 is a boaters product to protect plastic, vinyl, etc. It has a UPF rating of 40. So it really protects. It can be bought at boating stores. You can check out their website for locations:

Hopes this helps........

Another for 303 applied by a sponge, left to dry a bit and then buff back to matte using an MF cloth.

I have to clean the windshield anyways so it doesnt bother me.

I just feel like the product doesnt go on evenly if i dont spray it directly onto the dash.

If the dash is dusty, just use a damp cloth (water, cleanser, woolite mix?) to clean before applying 303?

Yes. I use a damp MF to dust (let dry) and another MF to apply the 303.

The haze is probably just the outgassing from the vinyl on the dash.

wash it with dishwashing soap and wipe off with a damp towel, spray with leather cleaner the cheap kind from autozone and wipe immediately and follow up with some pledge spray in direct sunlight leave for a bit then wipe off, it makes it look new again,... real talk

For 303, also try any auto upholstering place or pool supply/cover store.
