Have you tried Goo Gone or WD40? Check out the following thread before you do anything . . . https://acurazine.com/forums/wash-wax-23/shaved-my-emblems-365470/

I've tried Goo Gone to no avail, WD40 didn't work either. But since most of it is off I may try denatured alchool again. Clay bar maybe?

The guy at the shop used a heat gun and some strong clear chemical with a whole bunch of different danger labels so I'm positive it was stronger than goo gone.

If Goo Gone/Elbow Grease Didn't work, maybe try some rubbing compound?

Aceotone? Sufuric Acid? 60 grit sandpaper on your PC? Any of these should remove it, but then you might not like the results afterwards!!
I would have to say that WD-40 would be your best bet.... let it sit on there for a few, hit it again and use some elbow grease.... Repeat as needed.....

I would have to say that wet sanding should be the LAST alternative to try.

3m adhesive remover with a plastic razor, then follow up with clay, polish then seal it.
