A week after waxing...

So I dual bucket washed my car and waxed it. It's nice clean and shiny....A week down the line ...it's covered with a thin line of dust - the shine yearning to get out from under there....

What are my options at this time - give it the whole wash routine thing again?

I know I won't try and dust off the layer off the dust for frear of scratching the finish - so the question is - what do I do?

Its been a week...Time to wash again!

You could possibly get away with using a quick detailer, but you'd be better off just giving it a quick wash...

Poorboys Spray & Wipe. My most used product. I've used probably 3 gallons this past year. It's basically a spray on waterless wash - high lubricity so it lifts dust off. Spray on liberally, wipe off with a clean mf. Change mf's as they get dirty and only use for light dusting. I've been using it on my black daily drivers for a long time and have nothing but praise for it.

That or give it a quick wash.

I go through a lot of S&W as well, and it's good to hear from a pro that using it after a week is 'okay'. My answer would've been to get out the hose and buckets.

Well he did say "a thin line of dust", anything more than a light dusting and I break out the real waterless washes (Opt no rinse and QEW), but S&W is definitely a must-have.

Traditional wash with bucket and hose......
Its one thing if its been "driven daily for a week dust" or "garaged for a week dust". I wouldnt hesitate to wash it.....Could also be a good time to discover hoseless washes with proper "Hoseless products"....This is the exact type of situation they were designed for.

I never had an issue with swirls while using it. Of course if its dust that i can see without touching the car, then i wash it.
