Wax Re-do

Back at Thanksgiving, I waxed my 04 NBP TL. I used the wash - clay - wash - Megs #1 - Megs #2 - Megs NXT. I wasn't really happy with the spider webbing and faint scratches. I've since acquired a PC 7424, Meg's Scratch X and the Klasse twins (AIO & SG). I'm planning to re-do the job over Christmas.
My question is how far do I have to go back to start with the Scratch X? I will obviously wash it. Don't think I need to clay again. Do I need to remove the NXT before the Scratch X? If so, with what? Don't believe in the Dawn route, necessarily...... After Scratch X, do I go back with Megs #2, then the AIO, SG, etc?
Sorry to be so inquisitive, but you guys know this stuff better than me. Thanks.

Are you using the Megs DC 3 Step System? Megs #2 is a fine cleaner recommended for use with rotary buffers. Step 2 is using the DC System Polish. So I'm gonna assume you're using the DC 3 Step System.

AS far as claying, you shouldn't need to. Scratch X/abraisive polishes will remove the NXT as well as the swirls. Follow with System Polish (Step 2) or AIO, both are non abraisive polishes aka paint cleaners, but I think you'll get better results with the AIO. The last step would be applying the SG.

IMO, if you're getting the Klasse Twins, might I suggest using another polish like Poorboys SSR or Optimum. They might better suit your needs. I'm sure others will chime in also.
