Water spots from acid rain... and PC7336

Did some searches here on how do remove hard water stains/spots and as a result went to buy a Porter-Cable orbital sander/buffer (SP7336 @ Lowe's for $109). Now my question is, what cleaner/polish should I use? A local detailer told me to go with Meguiar's #2, then #9, then #26. I can't find #2 anywhere locally though. White vinegar and every other product I've used did nothing for these marks... hopefully this will. BTW what does everyone use to clean the foam pads? Or do you basically just have one for each kind of cleaner/polish you might use?

There should be cotton covers that go over the foam pad... Some are made specifically for taking wax off and others are for applying a liquid wax, cleaner or buffing compound..

I never heard of the Meq. prod. your typing of, but I would of spent the 100 and took it to a pro to get professionally buffed out..... that way if they screw up, they repaint..

Some acid rain stains will not come out with orbital buffers.. they need buffed out with a HIGH speed buffer.. the orbit does not spin fast enough in most cases.
