Washed and Waxed: Lamborghini

I have Loved these cars since I was old enough to hang a poster of em in my bedroom as a kid. This one is the baby Lambo Galardo but it was still a pleasure to work on. Owner simply wanted a wash and wax as he is trading it in a couple months from now for a new one. He also has a Murcielago *WOW* Love it! which is in horrible condition because it was not cared for properly. The owner figured that since he took his cars to the Ferrari and Mercedes Dealerships that they would have Top Notch Detailers! Ha..ha..ha..! Yeah more like Top Notch Hacks!! I hope he gives me the green light to restore the Murcielago? We'll see... Anyway this was a simple wash and wax. I used my Foam Gun to wash and topped with Pinnacle Souveran Wax. It looks better in the pics, the car really needs a good Polishing but like I said he doesn't want to spend the money if he's trading it in soon.

I Just had to snap a couple of my own baby too!

Great job !!! Isn't it so true about the dealers "detailers"? My daughter picked up a 1995 Ferarri 355i Spider with 12,000 miles on it and the dealer cleaned it up and detailed it for her .. took me 5 hours to polish out his detailing that was evident soon as the glaze they used washed off.

On the TL .. silver sure looks good cleaned up ... what front bumper is that? On of the few I have seen I like. I'm not a fan of the "A" Spec one.

Ok here is what you get from a high end Exotic Dealer Detail Shop....
This car has about 500 miles on it. Notice the swirl marks and the awesome job they did "waxing" the car. This was the condition my client picked up his car in. I thought it was his handy man that got wax residue all over the trim pieces but this was actually compliments of the Lamborghini/Ferrari dealership's detail shop. That is why I say "Never Let the Dealer Wash, Detail" your car. Please people...Just say NO! I'll be sure to post a full write up when I restore this beauty to the way it is supposed to Look!
