Using Pinnacle Original Paste Glaz Wax

I got this yesterday (free!!!) for my GF's silver car and it suggested that I use their wax polish thing to prep it before putting it on. Does it really matter? Anyone used this product before?
I dont' want to buy more stuff and was thinking that I could use the Wolfgang Prewax polish as a prep before putting on the Wax.

Any opinion?

It doesn't really matter what brand you use. Sometimes the results look better when your using different brands together. They will always suggest you use their brand. They wanna make money.

I'm hoping that the last item they give out is the Souveran. I wonder what they have for tomorrow.
