Bought the mothers clay bar from autozone. i didnt know what to expect. when i was using it , it seemed like i wasnt doing anything. the only time i felt it was when i was using it on the rear bumper. i looked at the clar after i did the rear bumper and it looked like it removed particles off it. but the rest of the car it just felt like i was moving this object on a wet car back and forth. after the clar bar i waxed it with NXT Tek wax. end results the car looked and felt like just as if i waxed the car with no clay bar. am i doing something wrong, i read the instructions. i washed the car with dawn soap even though i could have used the regular car soap. and dried car. then used the detailer spray and clar bar as instructed. sorry i didnt take pics.

 

Did you perhaps, read this? It could have alleviated any apprehension or suspicions........

 

Was this the first time you've clayed your 04? You'll feel a slight resistance on initial use and after 3-4 passes, it will just glide over the surface. After claying, highly recommend using a polish to remove any light scratches and residual clay. In addition to the reference above, here's a few more;"How To Clay" and "Clean With Clay".

 

yea, i used clay for first time to and not succesful.

do we need a applicant fluid to liquify the surface?

i tried first on a piece of bird shit that didnt come out for months, and guess it still wont come out now...damn!!!


and "acuratypetl" i feel same as u, i feel as if nothing is happening and i cant see results.

 

Seriously guys, read either of the articles posted above. Youll have better luck. 'Nuff said about it already.
