Unremoveable water spots on glass?

Ok... this one's got me 100% stumped...

I have noticed this past Saturday that there were these water spots (dried water drop) like spots on my windsheild. Thinking that I didn't clean my glass very well, I just ignored them.

Then earlier today, when I went to iclean it with InvisableGlass, I noticed that they wouldn't come off! I cleaned both sides (inside and out).

I never noticed them before. I washed my car on Friday with Dawn, and then ArmorAll Concentrate. I know some of the water dried on the glass (no shaded areas around my house, it was sunny). But that's happened before and Invisable Glass removed them easily.

I am completely lost as to what can cause this...

Try using white vinegar mixed with water 1:10 ratio. Also maybe you can use newspaper to clean the windows.

You can use straight white vinegar. Try to keep it off the painted surfaces though.

Ok, I'll try some vinegar.

And no, it couldn't have been due to a clay bar because I have never used one.

(I can't edit my previous post, so sorry for double posting.)

Well, my garage smells like crap but I think the vinegar did the job... of course, I won't be able to say for sure until I take my car outside on a sunny day.

He was referring to using the clay bar to remove the spots. Vinegar should do the trick though.

Didn't know you could clay bar glass...

But I wouldn't anyway, my glass is full of chips, I wouldn't want any clay residue on there.
