Yes it may block off drainage holes and cause issues .. your TL is already well protected.

What do you mean, it's already well protected?

I know new cars come with some kind of undercoating applied by the factory, but doesn't that wear off and need to be reapplied every winter? When I bought my last car, I paid an extra couple hundred to have the dealership apply undercoating and they gave me a lifetime warranty with it, they said to bring it in once a year and they would inspect it and reapply where necessary.

It snowed yesterday and the roads were covered with snow this morning, I plan to keep my TL for at least another couple years and don't want it to start rusting.

What is "snow"? Can somebody post a pic?

I don't want this rust-generating material anywhere near my TL.

No it doesn't wear off.. and the undercoating and "never" wax again coating they put on the car are some of the best money making scams at the dealership.

yeah i love them too... the latest one i got was when i negotiated price on the CL, and the dealer asked me if i wanted to add vin etching for 400$...

The car already had it previously done....
