Basically i want to know what the deal is with the turtle wax leather conditioner in the spray bottle that they sell at regular stores like target and such... i want to keep my leather in good condition.. and i noticed this product.. is it good? bad? any comments about it? i know you will all refer me to the other brands like zaino and mothers... but im curious about this product or something similar? what will and wont it do for me compared to the other ones and any other useful info would be great... thanks guys.

I've never used it, been a Megs user until I found out about the botique products. I think most of the folks use other name brands. Best I can tell you is to try it and see how you like. If it serves your purpose and does what it's supposed to do, then it's all good. If you don't like it, I believe the investment is inexpensive. Then you can give us a review of the product.

I'll stick with what I already know works. I've used Lexol cleaner for 3-4 years and either Zaino or 303 for the past 3 years. I don't like trying new products just to see if it works.......waste of $ in my book.

Just thought I'd throw that one in cuz he didn't mention what he's currently using, if any.

One of the favorites here is Aerospace 303.

the reason for the thumbs down is that tit dries out the vinyl and leather and starts making it crack.

Thats actually no longer true. I know many detailers who will use it for the main reason the client doesnt really care about the looks or longevity of it. But for ones own personal vehicle, or even my clients, i will prefer using the boutique products as mentioned before. One excellent brand left behind is One Grands ERV, and Do it All.....Its two of my absolute fav's for trim and interior.........
