Turtle Wax F21 Car Polish
#2
Let's see, I think there was one or two posts about F-21 during the past 6-7 months. There are 2 recent threads about Turtle Wax Ice. Sorry, can't help you there, just maybe someone who has used it will chime in. IMO, if you 're highly satisfied with the results of whatever product you're using, that's all that matters. And regardless what product is used, surface prep is a must.

I recommend you check the www.autopia.org forums. I'm sure someone has asked about Turtle wax F21 there.

Surface prep is ensuring your paint is free from minor surface defects and contamination allowing a sealant/wax to bond to the surface. This is usually accomplished by using 1) clay bar which removes imbedded particles like brake dust and 2) a pre wax cleaner, fine polish/paint cleanser to remove contaminants and oxidation. Polishing will also remove the existing layer of wax as well as improve reflectivity and gloss. For more info about detailing check Autopia "How To" Library towards the bottom of the page and the Better Car Care site. Another good site with info is OCD
Check out these threads to see what a properly prepped surface can look like after applying a layer of sealant/wax.
