Pictures of good reflection

Somewhere on the wash and wax forum i saw a great picture of a NBP acura at a car show. it was showing the great reflection, i think it was a picture of two ladies. i wanted to show a buddy the power of a good detail. does anyone remember where this post was?

Yea, Steve, it is a definite "turn your head" color. The downside is when it gets dirty, it's very noticeable, not to mention that it takes a lot of time to keep it lookin' "showroom". I do love the look, but after several vehicles in that color, it does get to be a PITA. Maybe it's just me ..... lol.

A well detailed black car always makes me break my neck. I have only owned one black car and I still have nightmares about keeping it pristine. As obsessive compulsive as I am about keeping my current car clean I still have that little birdy saying are you sure you don't want another black car? Only if my job was 5 minutes away.

Those are some scary pics JackieO,......and some nice ones too. Nice ones from d-rock as well.

I cant not buy a black car. I know its a pain to maintain and shows everything,.......but the colour just looks so darn good.

I am getting excited. Tomorrow I am ordering up my PC 7424 . Besides that, I will be getting a bunch of other stuff in,....,like clay and new washmitts, among other things. In two weeks I will be doing hardcore detailing. I have to do the TSX (Black of course), and do my dads Infiniti,...which will take a long time because it has been neglected (it is a beige/gold/brown colour btw).

What year/model Infiniti is it? The paint on them can be kind of finicky (the new ones) - just remember to be patient with it. You'll get the marring out, but it might take a few passes.

Ya, older nissan paint was much easier to deal with. Harder, but more predictable. Good luck!

Hey Steve, throw some pix up when you get done. BTW, I thought you had gotten a PC? Don't forget the pads and backing plate.

Haha, I will for sure . I wanted to get a PC before, but had to spend money on other things. When I did my car before winter hit, I just got the paint to the best condition I could by hand and sealed it up. I am getting some of excels propel pads for the PC Im thinking I might order a LC pad too, to try it out because of someones recommendation.
