Touch-free carwash. yes?no?may be?
Does touchless automatic cashwash leave swirl mark or spider web like other regular automatic carwashes with brushes and rubber clothes?
Just wondering cuz a local carwash offer this, price seems to be higher compared to other regular carwashes. They say it's the newest carwash technology. and I think since nothing touch the car beside water, foam, and wax, it shouldn't leave any scratch or swirl mark.
If there's no downside to it, I would use it before detailing instead of handwashing my car!
yes? no?

well, it's a TOUCHLESS car wash...so the answer is no, it will not leave swirl marks.
however, i don't like these for a number of reasons. the soap/cleaners they use can be harsh, some have locking tire-tracks that can fuck up your wheels, some don't air dry your vehicle nearly well enough and leave you with water spots.
just handwash your car. learn to enjoy it.

But I think that's the only downside to it! I have stock wheels so I couldn't care less about tire-tracks! And there's always 1 guy or 2 at the end to hand dry my car so water spots is also not an issue.
May be I'll utilize touchless more during the winter time

Yeah I agree with the soap being too strong, I have read many ppl said the same thing.

1) Harsh soap not only removes your wax it will slowly dull the clear.
2) Touchless doen't get the surface totally clean.
3) The guys drying the car are now rubbing the left over shit into your paint with who knows what type of towels and now marring your clear.
In the winter your better off just going to a DIY spray wash and using just the rinse water to get off all you can and call it done.
