car wash question

I've been meaning to wash my car for a little while now because it's filthy. My concern is that I Zaino'd it and I'm worried that an automatic car wash will take it off. I heard from a detailing guy that a cloth car wash will most likely take off the polish but touch-free ones are less likely. Anyone else have this problem? I know I should hand wash it but I live in Canada.....so you can see my problem.

as a fellow canadian Zaino user - hers what I can tell you.

never , never, never go to one of them cloth washes - your just begging for scrathces and swirls . . .

its ok to go to touchless - in fact the best ones are the Sunoco Gold ones - they are great -

yes, any washing with soaps chemicals etc will in some way reduce the zaino - but so minimally that if you have a few (2-3) well applied coats in the fall, visit the touchless washes once a week, you should still be seeing a great shine, and getting water run-off like there is no tomorrow - till spring.

of course, in most canadian winters, going to a car wash every week is not possible - just too damned cold . . .

but i hope you get the idea.

the person who told you it woud remove ure Zaino was only partialy right, and they likely are not familiar with the product -
