I was just wondering if anyone knew the legal amount of tint on the back and side windows??

Here's a link for synopses listed by state. I would suggest that you check out the website for the DMV/DOT in your state.

I think the NJ tinting rules are pretty liberal though (ie: you can limo tint without a problem). I'm sure some of our Joisey friends will pipe in.

NJ: can't do the front sides though

In NJ you can do the rear window and rear sides, but you can't do the front sides at all... as far as I know... And I kinda think having the rear sides and the rear, but no front sides would look kinda lame, especially on our CL's...

Although, I must say I do see a TON of people driving all sorts of cars in NJ with heavy front-side tinting as well, and I wonder how they get away with it/don't get pulled over on a daily basis...?

Yea I do always see cars driving around with tint on all the windows, but who knows if they get pulled over often. I wanna tint the windows...but I think ur right with it looking stupid because the front window has nothing...
