I hate starting new threads in the Wash & Wax section, because I know my questions have probably been answered 2x over. But here goes...
Im getting ready to buy some FSUPP and FSUPWC. My plan is to Clay, then use the pre-wax cleaner and then UPP followed by some type of lightweight wax (haven't decided yet). My question is first, does this seem like an ok order of products? And what pad/speed should I be using to apply the pre-wax cleaner?
As far as the current condition of the paint. It seems pretty well kept up (I've had the car less than a year) it sparkles and you have to search pretty hard for swirls.
Once its washed and clayed, and If I decide I need to do a little correction, whats a good polishing product to throw in the mix? And would I use the pre-wax cleaner after the polish?

PC?
FSPWC is great for cars not swirl mark removal or polishing. If you need some light swirl removal, opt for Four Star Ult. Swirl Mark Remover.
But lets see if your doing this via machine or hand first!

I would probably skip the pre-wax cleaner step since the clay step will remove most of your previous wax/sealant.
- Wash
- Clay
- Wash or Alcohol wipedown? It depends on the QD used for claying. This step is not required, but I prefer to rid the paint of any surface oils prior to the first polishing step.
- Polish using Four Star Swirl Remover, Since your swirls and scratches are light I would start with a polishing pad and PC set to speed 5 or 6. If that does not work then move up to a light-cut pad and PC set to 6. The PC does not have a lot of cutting power even at speed 6. (KBM does not apply here folks)
- Seal using Four Star UPP
- Sit back and enjoy the shine!!!
