I know the majority of ppl on this site are die-hard Zainoers(?), but there some of us that haven't jumped on the bandwagon..... Yet.... So what do you use/

I used to use Meguiar's Gold Class untill now, S100 is what I'm experimenting with now..... go to www.autopia.org and do a search, the shine is f'n amazing......

Z for me...

And a product that I know professional detailers like to use, and I love the stuff for my wife's car -- it lasts for a very, very long time.

TS CLEAR COAT

http://www.tsservices.com/ccf.htm

====================

* Clearcoat, paint protectant and polish.

* Cleans, seals, polishes and protects.
* Unique combination of ingredients provides ultimate protection against corrosion, detergent, acid rain and salt with a micro-thin protective coating.
* Specially formulated to keep out ultraviolet rays. Prevents the sun from oxidizing your paint!
* Protects almost any finish including cars, trucks, boats, air-craft, fiberglass, polished metals, finished plastics, chrome, stainless steel, varnished wood and more!!
* Provides a non-swirl, non-scratch finish to all paint surfaces. It has no abrasives so you can use it again and again without harming your paint. Contains no silicone.
* Easy to apply, provides real protection for over six months!

The stuff works great for cars that sit out in the rain and/or sun. It has a "wet" look and lasts a long time.

there are several great products out there - all variety for different needs and wants.

no one brand can claim superiority over all - for all.

im using Z (obviously) -
but for shine have seen great P21S results - as well as Meguairs

durability - well thats a wide ranging discussion, if you have a garage queen, it doesnt matter
if you love applying the stuff, it doesnt matter

my suggestion - try some different products, form some opinions based on what you see . .

pictures can be, and are deceiving,. and I rarely use them to judge (too many variables)

that's for sure...

Even different color cars with different paint will have a large impact on choices.

All depends Scooter

I use them all, depends on what I am working on and what I want to achieve.

On my car.. I use the clay bar, Stereo Glaze #2 or 3 (polish), then finish with MOTHERS Carnubba wax (the one with no cleaners in it)..

I use the DETAILS spray for the door trim.
The speedy Brightner for the tires.
The bumper black for the dash
Lexol for the seats.

Ask Deansbluesi about the DETAILS spray, he loves it... Your welcome Dean..LOL

No one for Liquid Glass???

I use it, works great. They have a marine type that's good protection against salt water(good in winter w/salty road grime).

I used zaino for 2 yrs, up till this Year and tryed Black fire. Same shine but less work and last much much much longer. I Zainoed my car at lest 2 a month if not once a week to keep it looking just waxed( yes i am very anal about my car) but now i do it once a month or every 2 months. still looks just waxed.

Interesting, because that's the first time I've ever heard this from a Z-switcher.

I've only used BlackFire and I'm extremely happy with the results. I have the old paint protectant, and I've heard good things about the new formula that was just released.

I've been very pleased with the BF durability and shine. The quick detailer does wonders after a quick wash.

Glad to hear there's another BF user here!

BlackFire, like Zaino is a polymer, which tends to have better longetivy than carnuba based waxes.

BF is so easy to apply. Wax on, wax off... No mixing of bottles. No waiting for the crap to cure (although the ZFX seems to get rid of the wait time for Zaino). I just wanted something easy to apply, and BF fits the bill.

Most people here are Z-nuts, and most haven't tried BF. Some have and say Z is better. Some have used Z and say BF is better.

I've been using BF for not quite a year now, and the results are wonderful! Durability is great (although there has been debate about that), shine is awesome, and the application process is simple.

Give it a try. I bet you'll like it.

Is Zaino a mail order wax or can I pick it up at an automotive supply store? I live in the Atlanta area.
