Snow removal

Yes unfortunately it is that time, especially for e of us in the NE that were greeted by an inch or so Tuesday morning.

I do not have the benefit of a garage. I have a cover but there will most certainly be snow fall during the day when my car will not be covered. What is the best way to remove the snow while inflicting minimal damage the dozen or so layers of Zaino and the underlying finish?

The regular ole snow brush seems to harsh for my beloved CLS.

When it snows I just clean the windows & lights & drive. I try not to touch the paint. No need.

I wouldn't worry about an inch or two. When more than that I use my arm to sweep it off leaving an inch or so. With all your hard work with the "Z" you are well protected. BTW my old 530 BMW had a front hinged hood, that was the easiest. Those damn euros.

I take one of my microfiber towels and wrap it around a rubber squeegee. Works great. I try not to push too hard. Get the majority of the snow off the car and let the rest just melt.

NSXNEXT,

You mean your car actually comes OUT OF THE GARAGE in the snow !!!!

As for what I do, I have a brush that is pretty soft, but I try not to get closer then about an inch to the paint.
I clean the windows & lights real good and let the rest blow off.

Just blow REAL hard!!!

I just wrap a 100% cotton towl over my snow brush and tie it around with one of those twist ties. I just get enough off so the snow dosen't blow back into my windshield while driving or onto other cars behind me while their driving.

Actually Shawn, I have a new job and I put over 100 miles a day on the car. Not for long though, getting a beater for work. Just in time for the white stuff
