should i wait on the wax

should i wait on the wax
i wanted to get my car detailed around mid may but i have a 2000 mile round trip at the end of may. i wanted to know should i wait until after the trip to get it detailed?

I would wait until your back. Tough call, a detail before would certainly help protect it from bugs though. But if your not doing it, then its not your concern!!

i would wait on the full detail until after you get back from your trip... but i would most defnitiely wash the car before i take the trip too... just so that i know any bugs are 'newly' dead and splattered... .

As far as bugs are concerned, I heard using Pledge helps reduce bugs sticking to your car. Any truth to this? Will it harm the paint/clear coat?

Protecting your car would do the same thing so I'm not quite sure why you'd Pledge it when you can just seal and/or wax it.

lol well if youre bringing it to me, bring it over and we'll wash and wax it. then do the full detail when you get back
