Short Term versus Long Term Exterior Care

Since I am leasing, good exterior paint protection is important to me but not the same as if i planned on keeping the car 5-10 years. Waxing seems to be less of a key in the short run although i do it regularly. I would have to think regular good washing is the best way of keeping the car look good in the 3 year range. if you have purchased the car and keeping it 5-10 years then waxing is essential to keep that finish in the long run. any thoughts?

floridaowner - knock it off now.

BTW, Temecula is a beautiful community, and also a highly educated area. It is located within about a 2 hour drive of UCLA, UCSD, USC. There are quite a few Ph.D.'s living in that neck of the woods.

I'm not taking sides, but joerockt obviously provoked floridaowner.

If you don't have any insightful comments, don't post.

Come on now. You can't say you've never made a meaningless post before. Joerockt can come up w/ some crazy comments, but Floridaowner is just a pain in the ass. Clowning ALL forum members is not a smart thing to do, yet he does it. Not to mention coming in with all the BS Pinnacle salesman type comments that no one wants to hear. He has made his point but never shuts up.

Go through ALL of floridaowners post and you tell ME who's provking who. Its funny how MANY ppl on this board perceive his posts as smug and annoying, yet no one has done anything about it.

Thus, the demi-troll is born.

Okay, I'm not going to search his previous post, but post #2 was absolutely unneccessary.

I have, but I've never startled something that was asleep, regardless of the history of the poster.

Meh, enough about this.

Well I eat cheese doodles, they are by far superior. You can buy them at any good supermarket. They even make crunchy style. I highly recommend them.

Cheese Doodles have harmful silicones in them, that can break down your vinyl and rubber products overtime. While they might make a fine lunchtime snack, I would not recommend using them on your dashboard or tires.

Beat me to it, wsklar. I was about to point out that same post.

Half of floridaowner's posts are blatant spam for Pinnacle and chiropractors. floridaowner's been warned about this once before - see killer's post in this thread: https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...light=pinnacle

floridaowner's posts seldom go beyond a plug for Pinnacle, offering no other insightful advice as to how well the product works, how it compares to other products, or proof in the form of pictures, which some of us members have repeatedly asked him for.

I said it in that post and I will say it again. I think he somehow gets paid by Pinnacle (meaning that his posts are spam). I also know that he does not own a TSX.

you are correct i don't own a tsx. I lease a tsx and will consider leasing a tsx again although will probably upgrade just a tad. nice car but nothing crazy. the nighthawk black is the only way to go. it stands out when detailed well. most of the other colors give the car a mirage look etc. will consider a tsx in 2007 but likely will be upgrading bigtime.

I don't know who this dude is, but he does not work for Pinnacle. That is a class operation all the way. www.autogeek.net is their storefront, btw.
