Shampoo and Vacuum
i use Tuff Stuff on all upholstry: carpets, floormats, headliner(if possible), seats(if possible). It gets grime off fairly easily. If there is a big staing you spray a lot of it over the stain, let it sit for 40 seconds ors so and use a scrub brush to lift the stain out. continue if neccessary.
I use a Rigid Wet/Dry Vac for cleanig the main areas of the car. It's very powerful and it can pick all debris up with no problem(unlike some household vacs).
For crevices and air vents try using a soft tipped paint brush. It cost very little and does the job very well.
