Scratches from visor

i took my roof visor off today and notice that there was a few scratches for some reason... i don't understand why since the visor has a rubber protection in the first place... what is the best why to get rid of these little marks?

I know EXACTLY what you are talking about.
I was NEVER able to get those marks out of my RED CL when I had the roof visor on there.
I tried the CLAYBAR and MANY MANY MANY applications of Zaino and they were still there.
Not only were there scratches, but also the paint was actually RAISED under where the rubber touched the paint.
Strange, but true.

That’s the #1 reason why the visor never got installed on my 2003.

I wish you luck, but I think you may need a professional to BUFF them out with power equipment.

LOL exactly.... i was like wtf... i thought it was because of the winding pushing down on the visor causing some jagged edges... but for some reason it wasn't push in but out!!!! Me and my friend use scratch remover, soft and hard wax, even thought they were sticky substance or just dirt build up and tried wd40 nothing f*cking worked!!! I finally gave up since it was on the roof and couldn't care less.... still regreted that i didn't take it off right away in the first place when i go my car..... F*CK!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is the scratch down through the clearcoat? If so, not much will get it back to new condition. Well a repaint will, but that's $$$.
