scratches?

scratches?

hey guys i have a 2000 acura tl and i have buffable scratches all over the car. i was wondering what would you use to remove and where can i get it? thanks

depends how much you're willing to spend. If you're willing to spend $250-$300 you should look into getting a Porter Cable 7424 XP + pads + backing plate + polishes.

For $20 bucks buy some Meguiar's Scratch out (< $9) at any Walmart or auto store. Hopefully you will have enough money to buy some Meguiar's Gold Class to top it off. That, and a lot of elbow grease, is all you can do with $20.

True, but...

Before you apply the Scratch X, you will want to...

Wash - Will need Car wash solution, buckets, mitts
Dry - Will need Good Drying towel
Clay (most likely) - Will need Microfibers
THEN apply Scratch X - Will need Microfibers
Then seal up after the Scratch X - Will need Microfibers

So it will be pretty tough to get all that for under $20
