Scratch advice?

Any advice for taking care of these wonderful scratches left by someone for me?

The ones in the first picture aren't deep and I think I should be able to buff them out somehow... the ones in the second picture are deeper so I may need professional help but not sure... Any thoughts/suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

for the first pic, if u can't catch it with your fingernail, use some of meg's scratch X. For the second, i can't tell which part of the car it is, and plus it looks dented

More pictures -

Not dented at all, just marred on one side and scratched on the other... Alternate sides of the front...

What did you run into? The pics with the scratches, you may be able to buff out most of it. The last picture of both sets looks like it penetrated pretty deep, you may have to consult a Body & Paint Shop. They may have to fill it, then paint and blend. If that's the case, then I would suggest doing the entire bumper.

Hey legionofdoom,

That really sucks... Bostonians love to hit and run (I know cuz it happened to me too). Leave you with the bill and repairs... In any case, for the front bumper, try some 3M adhesive remover to remove the paint from the other person's bumper, then 3M rubbing compound (1500 grit) to minimize the scratches. If the 1500 grit doesn't get rid of all the scratches, move up to 1200 grit... Polish then wax... No advice for the other pix as those look much worse...

Thanks for the advice, guys. The white paint marring was a present left for me in a parking lot and the other side happened down in Faneuil Hall driving home one night. The guy in front of my stopped short and I thought I missed him (didn't feel a thing) but found the two deep scratches the next day...

If anyone knows of any reputable detailers or body shops in the Boston area who might be able to take care of this for short money, please let me know too... Thanks.

let me know how the scratch in the second picture works out for you, as i have one that looks similar, and have no idea where it came from (scrape a curb maybe, don't remember?). anyways, it looks very similar to yours (down to black), and i wasn't sure how i should go about having that fixed, as it looks way beyond touch up paint.
