Rock chip on hood

Hey guys,

I noticed today when I was leaving the gym that I have about 4 pin head size rock chips on my roof (between the windshield and the sunroof). They appear white, so I thought maybe it was some left over soap or wax, but unfortunately, it wasn't. So, what are my options? I have some factory honda/acura touch up paint, but I am afraid that touching these up might make them look worse than they already are. They're barely noticeable unless you're right up to the paint looking for them. What are my options, and what do you all suggest? My biggest concern is rust. If they won't rust, then I will just leave them alone. Any thoughts?

Personally, since the location of the chip is on the roof, I'd try to hide the chip best as possible. So clean the hole out, apply some touch up, Clearcoat, then that should at least keep the rust away. That's what I'd do.

Do NOT use the brush method though.........Your better off with a toothpick! Just a dab, and then set it in there real steady....
