Requesting Advice on Best Wax or Polymer
All,
What wax produces the best result? Should I use a polymer instead of a wax? Why?
What would really be helpful is if I could get enough responses to this thread to get a consensus. For example, if I get 10 responses and 7 of them recommend Finish First Polish (or McGuires, or Turtle Wax, or other...) then I'd head right out and buy what gets the most compelling or highest number of recommendations.
Simple one-step processes are preferred.
Thanks!

What do you consider as "best result"? Each wax and sealant provides a different look and protection. Plus everyone's opinion is subjective so all we can do is suggest what we like, there's no right or wrong in this matter.
So what are you looking for in your LSP? Durability, slickness, look?

I can tell you first and foremost, it should be ease of use. If its not easy, you sure as heck wont use it no matter how well it performs.
I mean you wouldnt have an Acura if it wasnt a joy to drive eh?

What do I consider "best result"? I have McGuire's gold now, and am pretty happy with it. However, I just discovered this forum, so I'm interested in anyone who has a product that is better. That could be in terms of better protecting the paint, lasting longer, producing a better shine.

What sort of UV protection, if any, is included in "SC Nano Shine Glaze Coat"? Does it dry white? Is that product a suitable replacement for a wax, such as Meguiar's Gold, or is there some difference between them, something one has that the other does not?

That is a top coat applied over a sealant. Doesn't look like a stand alone.

Off the top of my head, Four Star Ult. Paint Protection and Optimum Spray Wax offers U.V. protection......The Nano Sealant or Glaze do not.....
