Cool removing clear bra

Hey guys and gals,
I know there are a lot of knowledgeable people on this wash/wax forums so I thought I would ask for some advice for tomorrow morning. I will be doing a clay/wax for the first time on my mom's g35 sedan (white). She has a clear bra that is on the side-view mirrors, hood, bumper, and headlights... is there a certain way to remove these without damaging anything? Thanks!

Why would you remove them? Don't clay them, but use a sealant or wax on them.

All feel free to correct me if I have misstated anything.

she wants me to remove them because they have been on there for a few years and are very yellow and "old" looking compared to the rest of the white paint on the car... any advice for doing this? or should she keep them on reguardless of what they look like?

Clear Bra Removal
It is not difficult to remove, apply heat to a corner with a hair dryer (not a heat gun) and work slowly to avoid breaking or tearing the vinyl (like any applied vinyl, the longer it’s been applied the more difficult it will be to remove) pull upwards at a 45-degree angle, work slowly and be patient. Detailer’s clay and /or 1:1 Isopropyl Alcohol / distilled water to clean any adhesive residue.

If it's "yellowing" try cleaning a small area with some Plastix first. Your going to have to working it into the clear bra that should help clear it up a little depending how "yellow" the bra is looking.

If you leave it in the sun on a hot day for a while, it helps too.

I made a thread a while back for removal of a clear bra. Some the techniques may help. I would add that the use of a hair dryer is recommended.
