Removed Mud Guards, now I need some advice

If clay didn't smooth it out a bit, get a good polish. They might be blemishes from rock hits etc.
Depending on how deep the marring is, you might need to go all the way up to a rubbing compound .. (be careful!)

It's not the paint, it's the mud guards. They have very sharp edges where they contact the paint.
Bottom line, you will most likely not be able to remove the marks. I took mine off about 4 weeks after I bought the car and I had a faint line where they once were.

no dude, its the damn paint, which is horrible. My moonroof visor, which I've tried also to remove, and I have pretty bad paint damage from the rubber. Have u seen how many swirls there on a TL? especially on NBP. Bird shit is the worst for our pain, but I found that seltzer water dissolves the crap safely.
I will do a major buffing (wet sanding maybe) on the car, hopefully I will bring all those blue specs that is in the NBP back to life. My last car was a 97 maxima, the paint on the car was unreal; too bad it got stolen.
Im taking my car to a body shop. I will let u know on the progress.

Have you felt the edge that lays against the paint? It's extremely sharp. I took a piece of sandpaper and sanded off the edge on my in-laws 03 TL and the paint still looks good underneath (a little dirty, but no scratches)
I actually thought about putting a piece of X-pel underneath them to add further protection.
