Remove Worst Smell Known to Man

Dog puked or maybe crapped in my car, was all over leather seats and floor and a little under the seat. Using a carpet steamer, fabreze and whatever else I could do, I spent a few hours. Removing seat doesnt seem to be an option, but I can't visably see anything left. Car still smells on the floor up close. What can I spray in my car to get rid of the smell?

Oh man...........
Im not even going to ask how this all happened, although Im quite curious?
Sounds like you need a full decontamination. My worries are the odors and "funk" have absorbed into the carpet fibers and possibly the underlayment. Its probably eaiser to have that replaced, (although expensive) vs. cleaning. I mean what choices do you have here? Everything has to come out and be cleaned thoroughly........Maybe theres a steamer hiding under something, somewhere and you'll get lucky.
Crap (no pun intended) I wish I had an easy answer for you.

Would a good detailer know how to remove the seat? I know I can't (electronics, bolts, etc).

why not? shouldn't the electronics have clips that unhook? can you see anything under the seat? my bet is that there is crud in the carpet under the seat that has not been cleaned totally.

All seats can come out. It's just a matter of how hard it is to do.

Removing the seats are easy with the right tools.

The bolts will be tight to break loose, and they have to be torqued back down appropriately.

But the "wires" all have disconnects that only connect one way and they are usually unique in size, shape, and/or color.

Easy job, and you have hundreds here to help you if you get stuck.

Rear seats should be easy. Front seats, a little bit harder. But nothing impossible. Which seat was it?

If they are the front seats, try to unhook the electronics. Unclip all the wires from underneath the seat. The seat should be bolted on all four corners, the bolts are usually under plastic covers that snap on somehow. Bolts will be tight. It may take a while to figure out the clips on the wires for the electric seats.

The seat bottom for the back seat should pull out though it will be tough.

If this is your G, get on the G35 forums and ask for help over there.

My advice:

Use this stuff: http://www.naturemakesitwork.com/home/index.php

(Nature's Miracle enzyme cleaner)

Pour it on, rub it off. Pour it on, rub it off. Spray it on, and let it air dry as long as it takes (with a fan if necessary).

If still stinky, sprinkle with baking soda. Let it sit, vacuum it up. Spray wit Nature's Miracle, sprinkle with baking soda, let it sit, vacuum it up.

My dog peed like crazy on my unprotected PILLOW TOP mattress, and this (along with hydrogen peroxide, though I believe that can bleach non-white fabrics) took out everything - no stain, no smell, not even visible under blacklight.

Good luck!!!

Edit: between the spraying and air-drying, this process took me about 3 days on my mattress. But, it worked!

Eh, might be worth the $$ if it's really that stinky! Did you try the Nature's Miracle, though? I bet you could get the smell out by yourself... but again, it depends whether or not it's worth the $120 to avoid cleaning out nooks and crannies filled with noxious biowaste materials :-p

That bites. This is why i banned the dogs from our TL regardless of the circumstances. Love 'em but not enough to let that happen. That's why we have the Expedition.

Did they use an "OZONE" machine? that's what I would have recommended for removing odor.
