Remove GLUE from paint?

First off, lemme say I'm glad its not my car. Anyway, my Uncle has a black Mercedes that the side view mirror broke. So, to fix it, he crazy glued it. Yeah, I know its stupid, but he really isn't much of a car enthusist so he really didn't think much of it. Anyway, the glue dripped down along the door, and obviously is very vsible. Is there any chemical or perhaps clay that can remove it?

You could try this, not sure what it will do to a painted surface.

Available at Ace Hardware: http://www.acehardware.com/product/i...ductId=1418920

You can try Mineral Spirits just go up to ACE and they should have it. Just be Very Very careful when applying it to paint. Put it on a paper towel and let it soak into it for maybe 10 seconds so it won't soak into your paint. I wouldn't recommend Mineral SPirits but it should do the trick.
