Question about paint scratch

I just noticed about a four inch straight line scratch/scuff mark on my rear passenger door. At first I thought my car may have been keyed, but upon further inspection I noticed that I can glide my skin over of the scratch and cannot feel it against my skin, in another words it feels flat when going over it with my finger.

Is this a good indication that it can be buffed/polished out? My car is NBP and I try to do my best from scratches, dings etc. but it seems like I get them anyways. I will try to get some pics up as well.

Run the tip of your finger nail over it to see if you feel it .. if not it usually can be buffed out ....

I can slightly catch the scratch towards the right end of it. It's hard to see unless you're really close but the pic below looks pretty deep.

i suspect you could polish out about 90% of it...you need a machine to do it correctly....
