Putting tire dressing over Tuff-shine

I've got about 4 coats of Tuff shine on my tires and would like to give them just a little more shine..is it ok to apply a tire dressing over this product(Tuff shine)? TIA

Tom, depending on a solvent or water based dressing, will determine its ability to adhere.
Did you do four consecutive applications (TS) or have they been spaced out over time?

would that make any difference? if yes, how long would you suggest to wait between applications?

If one is looking for hi gloss, ideally you would apply a coat, wait 15-20 minutes, and reapply. Additional coats, depending upon desired gloss can be applied again after a short drying period.
If you have four coats over say 4-6 months, you could probably try the dressing atop the TS and see how it appears............
I recently used Prolong Rubber/Vinyl protectant to one side of my vehicles tires and so far so good. I had been using TS for maybe 6 months, and it had probably been two months since its last application. All looks well but I got so used to TS's appearance, I undoubtedly will go back to it in a wash or two...........

You can order anytime you wish! I have made arrangements to have TS drop ship for me with no additional shipping charges accrued with your order.
Im real leery of holding shelves full of products once summer has ended and have kind of backed off on larger orders for the purpose of maintaining inventory through the coming wet/cool months......

Oooo! Good to know! Do you think I need to get the "kit" with the cleaner? IDK. I do know just using my Griots car wash didn't remove the greasy feeling stuff on the tires well at all.

The TS Tire Cleaner is made exclusively for use, with the TS Sealant! I highly recommend using it when using the sealant!

I've been using Tuff-shine this whole summer season and must admit it's the best tire shine stuff I've ever used. People are amazed how shiny my tires are even after 2 months. The next test will be how it holds up to the rainy season.

I do not get it. Why top Tuf Shine with tire dressing? Do you have a pic of your tire(s)? Tuf Shine looks great by itself unless your application of sealant did not bond properly.

Yes my multiple coats have been spaced out over the course of summer. I'm not saying the Tuff shine product doesn't look good...exceldetail is right about the "what if" scenario...maybe I'll leave well enough alone. Thanks for the replies.

Tom, give it a shot and let us know!! I recently put (I think I mentioned this before) a dressing atop TS, but it had been quite a while since the last TS application. Im fairly certain it was about gone, so I though (like you I'd imagine) what the heck!! Course it was a newer product I wanted to get a 1st impression about also. My truck has left side bling, and right side nothin, lol.
