Pro and Weekend Detailers: Help with scratches

I have these scratches on my Anthracite TL. What do you guys recommend to remove these scratches and make my car beautiful and whole again? These scratches were made when I was trying to remove caked-on bird crap. The bird shit had seeds or some grit on it. I didn't notice it until I rinsed off my car. Thank you!

if you have a pc then you could use that with a polishing pad with meguiars 83 and it won't exactly remove the scratch it will help reduce the visibulity of the scratch greatly. i have some scratches like that on my car car and I have gotten them out or hidden them to the point where I can't see it unless I look for it. If you don't have a pc then you could try scratch x then follow it with a polish and wax.

It will also depend on the depth of the scratch. If you run you fingernail over it and it catches you may have to fill and blend it out. Anything other than that, you could probably remove or reduce visiblilty as 01 Cl-s stated.

If you have Meguiars products I would start with #80, polishing pad, and a PC. Most likely you will need #83 but I always start with the least abraisive product first. You may try some Scratch X with a foam applicator pad. It will be much cheaper than purchasing a PC. The trick with Scratch X is that you have to work the product in with a little elbow grease and not lightly like you are applying wax.

Thanks for the responses. I don't have a PC yet b/c the old lady doesn't think it's necessary plus I'm low on cash. Women don't understand the bond between a man and his tools. I will try the Scratch X b/c I'm afraid of damaging the skin of the car using abrasive paper and creating a bigger scratch. So with Scratch X, will I also need a polish to fill in the crevice? And is Natty's paste sold commercially like in Autozone, PepBoys, Vans, or etc...?

ScratchX is a polish, just grab a tube of it and a foam applicator as well as a good mf towel to wipe away the residue. Put a dab of ScratchX on the foam and rub it into the scratch. You'll need to use a little elbow grease and will probably have to repeat 3 or 4 times, but that should come out (or pretty close to it), just wipe way the residue with the mf towel in between passes. Afterwards re-wax the area with whatever wax you use. Nattys is not available locally (as far as I know), however Meg's NXT had a lot of fillers (which will help fill any remaining scratches at least for a few weeks), is available locally, isn't expensive, and is pretty well regarded.
