Porter Cable and Zaino

I searched for a thread on this subject but it seems no one has asked this question.

I have a 05 NBP. Yes I know, SWIRLS. So to make this really short. I just bought a PC 7424 and would like to use Zaino.

I just bought the Fusion Z-PC Fusion swirl remover and will do the regular Zaino regime after that.

Pads? What are the best pads for the process. Any help would be great! Thanks!

Pad selection/product is dependent on the severity of the swirls .... I would start off with a light polishing pad and then move up probably to light cutting pad. There are several pad manufacturers and these seem to be the more popular ones; Lake Country, Propel, Edge, Sonus. Kits and single pads are available from online sites such as Autogeek (Lake & Edge), Exceldetail (Propel & Erasure), Autopia (Sonus), Detail City (Lake & Edge) and TOL (Lake). Hopefully this helps you a little bit and not confuse you.

just to make sure it's clear...it isn't recommended using the PC to apply zaino sealants...just the ZPC itself. you would waste a ton of product to get it on the vehicle w/ the PC.

the trick to using the PC with zaino is applying a whisper thin layer by using a buffing pad. I did that and used very little.

I agree with Paradigm. I apply Z2/Z5 by hand as it's actually easier than using a PC IMHO. Polishing? That's a different story!
