Porter Cable 7336

Okay...me and my two other buddies just purchased the Porter Cable 7336 random orbital polisher and we are curious as to how other people use it. So far this is what we did on my friend's accord. We used the white pad that came with it...threw on some Klasse, put the 7336 on the car and turned it on at a speed of 1. We just went back and forth over the area until we felt it was thourghly coated and then wiped it off. Now I am curious if anyone uses this and/or have different pads they use. Any help would be greatly appreciated it! Thank you!

I got my PC7336 from Lowe's and a pad "kit" from http://www.properautocare.com. I got the different pads because I oftentimes work with much-older cars that have a lot of oxidation and other problems and I'm able to pretty much clear these problems up while looking somewhat like a "pro." And I like the 3M line of abrasives. I also picked up a few extra white foam pads from them. The local PC dealer wanted double the price for the foam pads.

But for a newer or new car, the white foam pad is just fine for removing swirls and hard water spots with the 3M swirl remover, No. 39009. Or in your case, I guess, for the Klasse.
