pics from zaino newb

exterior process:

paint - dawn, zaino clay w/ z7 wash, z5, z6, z5, z6, z2, z6
rims - left over z5
wheels - zaino tire dressing (would've used 303, but it came in the kit...might as well use it)
black trim/misc - 303
interior - 303 (about a week ago)
MF towels - Sonus brand multi-purpose

total time: ~5 hours

the kit i got from zaino does indeed have the z9 and z10...i just haven't used it yet. i cleaned the interior last week and used 303 on everything, so i didn't want to redo it all right away. i'll give that stuff a try the next time.

The stuff rules. Its what keeps a car smelling new and fresh year after year...

i got a question do you have to use the zaino clay bar or can you just buy a different brand clay bar? i was thinking that they all work the same. am i correct?

There are only a few manufactures that make the clay. Some however are softer then others. I think the two extremes are Clay Magic (very sticky, a bit more coarse) and Sonus Detailing Clay (A finer, smoother clay and more pliable). I like to use CM on neglected cars and Sonus on newer cars.

I had to use mothers clay in a pinch & didn't like it at all. I saw a big difference. It was very sticky & needed a lot more lube then Zaino clay. I now stock up on Zaino clay bar.

Car looks great!

WHOA

I might actually bite into the Zaino process. How much would it cost for the complete set?
