Paint Splattered on my car!

Well i was driving and some idiot in front of me wasn't paying attention and swerved off the side of the road, then he over corrected and came flying back onto road. When this happened all of the buckets in the back of his truck flew out and hit the ground. I thought there was nothing in them till i got home in New Orleans and saw white paint all over the front of my car

Well it was mardi gras and i didnt have time to get it off right away, now it seems the shit won't come off even if i scrape it and it leaves a mark.

What would ya'll recommend to get this stuff off? clay bar?

Thanks

Have you tried a claybar ? Also consider 3M adhesive/tar remover.......

I had this happen to me on a long road trip and got my car 99% paint free with a clay bar. There are still very small small specs that didn't come off, they are too small to feel. It was definitely a pain in the ass though. Expect to use a few clay bars and many hours (I think it took me like 12 or 14) to get it looking good. Like I said, my car is still not 100% perfect, but I'm likely the only one who can notice it, and even then only in very harsh lighting.

Hey Fellow Louisianian

Try the claybar, and be pactient it may take a while depending on how much shit got on the car.

This happened to me when I had my white CLS, and I got tan colored road paint all down the sides, to this day I have no idea where it came from. Claybar worked like a charm though.

Yeah, try the Clay bar. I had some major spraypaint overspray on my hood last week when some punk stood on my hood while putting graffitti on my father-in-laws garage. I used the clay bar and it all came off in about an hour an a half. Just make sure to use enough lubricant to be able to slide the clay, but not so much that it easily glides...Too much lube won't take the paint off.
