Bug Storms pt 2

Due to the nature of my employment I was distracted enough to post this query in the photography gallery...sorry. I had mention that here in north Texas we have frequent bug storms or showers during the warmer months. I was seeking advice for the proper removal of bug guts from my front bumper, products or technique.

Thanks

My dad told me about what he used when he was younger...something called "Elbow Grease". Sounds fishy to me, any other suggestions?

After you have the bugs, no, no suggestions other than warm water, and smooth scrubbing. Before the bugs, spray WD-40 on the bumper and all areas to be affected. It will make your life a lot easier next time you wash your car.

WD-40? Why not a good coat of wax, and some bug/tar remover?

WD-40 has shown to be more effective. It works pretty well and causes absolutely no damage to the painting.
