Paint Splatter
On my way home from work, i unfortunately ran through some household paint that had fallen off a truck. i didnt see it until the last minute, so i was able to serve some, but i still got some on the left side of my car.
being that my car is black and the splatter is white, it does stand out a bit.
I clayed, polished, and waxed (all by hand) and the splatter remains.
Any way to get this out?
one of my friends said to try paint thinner and rebuff. another said wetsand. i dont have the balls for either.
feedback is appreciated.
thanks.

I think it was Ketch that said prepsol should only be used if your doing a repaint as it attacks the integrity of the clear and can lead to future failure.

Prep-Sol® 3919S™ contains a little over 1% Xylene and if it would cause clear coat to fail, wouldn’t it cause the other paint (colour and e-coat) systems to fail?

The toxic components to be aware of in solvents are; Xylene, Toluene, Methyl ethyl ketone (MEK) and etc. Xylene is the most common solvent used in many products as it provides almost instant cleaning abilities, but be cognizant that it is considered toxic by inhalation, skin absorbsion. As always with solvent; check MSDS and note percentage used in their formulation.

I'm shocked its still on the car after all that work. I figured being house paint it's probably latex, have you tried using a microfiber and your fingernail to lightly scratch it off?

Thanks for the feedback all.
I'm going to give it a quick wash and see if the microfiber/fingernail trick works.
I'm sure its household paint. There was a paint can in the middle of the road

If it leaves marks try wet sanding it. Get a peice of 2000/2500 grit and a paintstick and block sand it down. When you are done go over it with a rubbing compund, polish, and then a wax. Should be good as new. If you need any help or have questions about wetsanding just let me know.
