Paint Chips?

Does anybody in this section know how to repair paint chips in the front bumper? The paint is constantly, literally peeling and I can continue to pick little pieces off my bumper. Is there any fix for this? Should I just the peeling paint down and then use touch-up paint over it? What is the best way to go about doing this without having to get the whole bumper resprayed?

I will try to post a pic tomorrow. I also have a problem with my rear A-Spec lip. It seems to have minor bumps in it or something. I will post pics of that as well and hopefully you guys can give me some opinions as to what I should do.

Thanks in advance.

if your car is still under warranty i would take it to the dealer....otherwise, i would suggest you get the bumper refinished by a quality paintshop....maybe do the hood while you are there and your car will be set....

Your prolly going to find this behind the front and rear wheels too .. common term is rail dust .. but in general contaminants stuck in the paint .. Clay Bar the areas and that may remove it for you .

just go buy a claybar kit from autozone and read the directions....very easy, i use the meguiars kit...20 bucks, comes with microfibre cloth, 2 bars of clay, cleaner wax....enough clay to do whole car about 3x with each piece....

And the rear A-Spec lip...

Wow, that is not pretty. I think the only way you are going to get that to look better is get the bumper painted. This is beyond touch-up paint. Hopefully your rear bumper does not look like the front.

My rear bumper is well. The front is horrendous though, as you guys can see. The thing is, I don't know if I want to pay to get it fixed just yet because I am thinking about getting a Versus front bumper by the end of the summer, if all goes well. I need a fix for this that is inexpensive right now so at least the car doesn't look as bad.
