paint.

HELP!
a few days ago i spotted some gum on my driver side door. it was really sticky so i couldnt get it off. I decided to used some cooking oil and it worked. but now i think the oil smear on to the paint. when i feel it, its really rusky unlike the other part of my paint. what do i do?

Use a little paint cleaner after washing, then reseal.
Or if you have an all in one type product (cleaner/wax), feel free to use that as well.

exceldeatil: what you mean a paint cleaner or all in one type product? where can i get it? is there a specific brand?

pimpcl23: i just wash my car this morning and the stain wont come off.

Yup....A paint cleaner. Paint cleaners are products which remove debris (such as your oils) from the paints surface and pores.
A cheap fix would be Meguiars #6 at your local auto part store......

Or wipe it down with rubbing alcohol then rewax.
