Other uses for a PC7274XP?

Sooo, I bought one of these badboys, spent about 2 days using it compounding / polishing / the works. And now it doesnt seem like it would be used that heavily until I am due for my next full detail?

I'm assuming I can use the PC to apply wax / sealant every few washes I do?

Guess it will be an expensive garage ornament for now lol!

Also, I have noticed some micromarring? (not sure if thats what its called) but its like a cloudy haze. It seem to have appeared a few weeks after my detail. I believe it was caused by the hypercompound. Is there any way to fix this? I went over it with regular optimum compound, but it didnt seem to fix it. :S

Thanks

If you're just doing your own vehicle(s) then you really only need it once every 6 months or twice a year, you can use it for other things, it makes a hell of a power sander

^ I think the pads absorb too much liquid wax so you're wasting product. Might work better with a paste waste.

For personal use, I think the regular 7424 is sufficient. I have that and if I have to use it for 16 hours over a weekend, it sucks!

I would just keep re-buying and reselling! Since Jason has dibs on the one you have, I call dibs on the next one! Make sure you sell it for cheap too!

You can use it around the house for other purposes, buff out your family member's cars, friends etc. Before you know it you'll be doing some on the side making a little extra money.

Thats what its for! Use it for everything. They even make a carpet cleaner attachment, although Im a little unsure of that accessory.

Going to need to know your PP (products and process) to assist you..........

THat's only with a sand paper attachment that you can use it for sanding The pads on the paint work well for polishing and waxing

I wish they made pads for an angle grinder. Now that would make it truly multipurpose.

i'll try to get some pics, its just like scrubbing mats after i soak them with all purpose, except easier since it moves all around for you.
it actually works very well to sort of "fluff" up old carpet mats lol
