ONR mixes

I have a bottle coming etc etc .. but I have a question , can ONR be mixed , and at what ratio, to be used as a QD and as a lube for claying?

My gallom of QD is getting low and if it can be used for both it will save me ordering.

TYIA.

 Add 1 ounce of No Rinse Wash & Shine to 2 gallons of water to make an excellent no rinse car wash. Soak a Cobra microfiber towel in the solution and wash your vehicle with the wet towel. Dry each section with another Cobra microfiber towel. There’s no need to rinse! The lubricants and substantive polymers in the formula will protect your vehicle from abrasion as it safely cleans all vehicle surfaces. The polymers encapsulate dirt and cause it to drop to the bottom of the bucket. No Rinse Wash & Shine actually cleans the wash water as it cleans your vehicle! And it leaves your vehicle super slick, like it was just waxed!

 Add 1 ounce to wash water made with your regular car wash. No Rinse Wash & Shine’s advanced polymers and lubricants offer more surface protection and slickness than ordinary car soap alone. It acts as a water softener and conditioner to improve the quality of the water that touches your vehicle to provide the ultimate safe wash.

 Add 2 ounces of No Rinse Wash & Shine to a gallon of water to make a super-slick clay bar lubricant. Wet the surface of your vehicle to provide a slippery protective layer beneath Opti-clay. After you’ve clayed each section, simply wipe it dry. This solution is as effective as any clay lubricant you can buy!

 Add 6 ounces of No Rinse Wash & Shine to a gallon of water to make an excellent quick detailer. Fill up a spray bottle with this mixture and use it to clean and shine your vehicle, just as you would use a traditional detailer. The proprietary polymers bond to the paint surface to protect it from abrasion and micro-marring as you clean. The incredible formula leaves your vehicle extremely slick and glossy, like you just applied wax!

The ONR QD is very versatile, but I think it's a bit too stong of a QD for me. IME I think it might have shortened the life of my existing LSP. I have a gallon mixed of ONR QD strength now going on about 3 months and it's turned to a light purple color. I've been using the QD for just window cleaning and for my clear bra.

It leaves a nice slick finish, but does not last that long from using it.

Maybe dillute it down to like 4 oz to the gallon .. just add water to the existing stuff .

The Optimum Instant Detailer & Gloss Enhancer is FAR superior to the NRWS QD. (JFYI)

Ya I have read that .. I have about 1/4 Gal left of the Megs Last Touch which I can use on mine and will last me forever. And a near full bottle of Sonus ( sp) if I need it for Klasse SG etc.

I was more looking to mix a Gal of QD for customers door edges etc and wheel cleanup during details.

And a lighter mix for clay barring.

I've been looking for an inexpensive QD/clay lube too.

Looks like you're out of stock on both the Optimum IDGE concentrate and the gallon of NRWS right now Pat.

Oh, and how well does Optimum IDGE work at a clay lube in general and vs. NRWS?

AZ, all out of stock items arrive Monday...I was really hoping for delivery Friday but it just didnt work out that way....I do apologize.....
As for NRWS vs ID/GE:
The ID/GE is a heck of a lot slicker for claying, and more affordable at <$20.00 a Gal vs. around $35.00. Im always leary of claying without polishing afterwards, but those of you who own lighter colored vehicles could theoretically clay, and get some added protection when using the ID/GE.....

I guess I'll wait til next week to place my order then.

Yes, ID&GE is < than NRWS but since you'd be diluting NRWS as well (according to Jesstzn.... 2 oz. to a gallon of water for a clay lube), wouldn't a gallon of NRWS be able to make 64 gallons? Therefore NRWS would be < than ID&GE, right?

Got a chance to use the mix for clay lube today and both my partner and myself commented that it made the clay do its job a lot easier .. also didn't dry in the sun as fast as the reg QD has a tendency to. Also less sticking of the clay to the fingers.

Less seems to go a long way too. The mix was also used to do the door jams etc and she said it cleaned as well as the Woolite mix but acted like a QD which she uses if the jams arent too dirty. .

Mix was 2 oz/Gal
