Oil change

Hello Guys,
First of all, let me thank all those who helped make my decision about buying an acura an easy one. Thank you for all your opinions and advice. I have had my car for 4 months and no problem at all as yet.
Now it's time for my first oil change and i was wondering if I should use synthetic oil from now on. i heard that it's better and ensures that the engine and all last longer. My questions are

1. Is it true that synthetic oil is indeed better?
2. If yes, which is the best one to buy?
3. I am in houston, texas and if anyone knows of a place where i can buy this oil at a reasonable price, then please let me know.
4. Does anyone here know of a place in houston where i can but my oil and take it to them for an oil change.

i was thinking of buying Mobil synthetic oil from Sam's club.

Any advice would be highly appreciated.

Thanks
