NU FINISH Once a year car polish

Has anyone tried this product? I have tried searching the forum and surprisingly came up with nothing.

The most durable polymer sealants (Zaino, Duragloss, etc) only last ix months + NuFinish is NOT more durable than these products!

Heavy in the petroleum distillate arena, somewhat nauseating to work with. Decent protection for OTC, but it does not provide 1 year protection.

There are a couple of posts about NuFinish....... They also have a bunc of other products similar to NuFinish and pretty much have the same claims. 5 Star Shine and Formula 113 come to mind. All I can say is if it works for you and you like the results, then press on and continue to use it.

If once a year (or realistically, once every four months) is your style, there a several good options. I don't think a once a year product is going to live up to it's sales pitch.

Having said that , I remember putting ?Finish2000? on my first car 15 years ago, but I think I may have only buffed it off one side!! The car always pulled to the non-buffed side... Darn increased drag!

Definitely doesn't last a year. I have a bottle in my garage that my parents bought way back in the day... Exceldetail is right, it's nauseating to work with. Smells REALLY strong of petroleum distillates (chemically smell!).

I have been using exclusively this product for 15 years, 4 times a year. Of course, it doesn't last a 12 months. In a comparo I saw 5 years ago, it was in the most lasting ones. Very easy to apply. BMW recommends a carnauba based product (it is polymers based), but I am satisfied with the results.

Actually it must be addiction. This is why I do it 4x a year.

It is not that bad, really.

Yes, as most similar products, you must not use it on plastic trims unless painted.
