new rotors turned yellow/brown after washing...
i hope this isn't bad?
they squeaked too for my first brake, but after that they were fine.
you can see where the brake pads scraped away the brown shit, but there's still a lot left on the rotor (picture a donut, where the actual donut is the brake pad trail and the donut hole + air around it is the rest of the rotor, covered in brown grime shit)
is this OK or do i need to clean it off asap?

This sounds like normal rusting after a wash. I have yet to see a rotor that will not show some rust after washing. Unless the rotors are made of some exotic material they will rust. No worries, most of the rust went away after some braking.
