New items update

Some new items are/will be soon available at exceldetail.com.
Im proud to introduce Protect All (again). Protect All Polish, Wax and Treatment is now available in 6oz aerosol, and 16 oz spray. Ive never carried it before, but was introduced to it by a friend of mine, and was really surprised at its ease of use, great shine and protection.
The new "Erasure" pads will arrive some time next week. The manufacturer has felt so badly about not keeping hs promise to me regarding a release date, he has promised to overnight them to me, and have them ready for sale next Friday.
Pads selection will encompass all phases of R/O detailing from finishing to medium cut, just as the popular Propel, and P2 pads have done in the past. The reason I decided to add another pad was my difficulty in maintaining availability of the Propel lineup, due to strong sales with both Propel versions. (Im currently out of the 7" Orange, and Yellow). All pads carried at the exceldetail storefront, are made of identical foam, just different sizes and design. (Propel=7", P2=6.75", ExcelErasure=6.5")
A couple more One Grand products have also recently been introduced. ONE GRAND CHROME POLISH is professionally recognized as the best and used by top chrome plating companies throughout the industry to polish their products prior to delivery. ONE GRAND METAL 300 is a spectactular liquid metal polish that cleans and protects Aluminum billet wheels, diamond plate, Stainless Steel, Brass & Copper.
Also available (Monday) is a 100 gm Medium grade detailing clay. That will make 3 levels of clay, available at exceldetail.com. UltraFine, Fine, and of course, Medium.
For those of you familiar with Four Star products, we now carry the FS Body Shop line, which is a little wider range abrasive, Swirl Mark Remover, Spot Repair Polish, Light Cut, and Medium Cut compounds.
We are also adding a couple more Microfiber Polishing Towels. The New Erasure 16x16 will be available in Green and Wild Pink! (Already available in blue) We will be introducing a 3-color pack when the other two arrive.

Sounds like you've got some nice new stuff coming. I'm curious to see how the new FS polishes work. Also, I'm interested in the One Grand Metal 300. I just refininshed my wheels, and stripped all of the clearcoat off, back down to bare metal. I've been using Mother's Mag & Aluminum polish with really nice results, but would like to try some others out as well.

I'm dying to try the Clearkot QD. I use Meg's Last Touch detailer, and I like it alot, but I thought the Clearkote might mesh better with it's own products, considering I use their wax. I think I'll be making an order within the next few weeks . I'm also hoping to pick up a new PC polisher, so i'll be needing some pads for it.

I used to use megs and its fine. Only time i use Megs now is for claying.

But Clearkote QD is by far has a better shine and feel. IMO

Kinda weird actually. I had...

Vanilla moose glaze with S100 on top. Looks great but then a week later i washed the car and sprayed it with QD, i swear the flakes just popped out more.

Could be all in my head....

Were you using the Megs Quik Detailer, or the Last Touch Detailer?

Crazy, the water is basically left out of the container, which helps in shipping. It would/could be cheaper to ship a concentrated Gl, then a mixed Qt.....
All you, the end user does is add water to the fill line! Wallah, 1 Gallon of Quikshine.....

On another note, I used the Protect All "Does it All" last night. i was a little shocked at the consitancy in the beginning, but quickly realized its ease of use and slickness. Its quite a thick product for spraying, but if sprayed on an applicator or MF, is quite nice.....
Ive used the aerosol before, which is obviously better atomized, but the value is better in the 16oz'er.
So great value, ease of use, protection, non staining, versatility, UV blocker......I think I may have stumbled upon the perfect product.
Im going to make a Optimum/Protectall quick detailing kit up. Theoretically, one could use Optimum No rinse Wash and Shine, with Protect All, and thats all they would need until polishing time, maybe twice a year.....

I'm alittle confused now. I know - what else is new. What exactly is the 4* Gloss Enhancer? I though it was a quick detailer.

The Gloss Enhancer my friend is exactly that! Im a little apprehensive about even using the word Quick Detailer these days. Theres so much abuse when it comes to their use. The FS UGE is/should be used on a 95% or better, clean car. A little dust is fine, a little finerprints here and there are fine. But not on a daily driver after a weeks worth of driving back and forth to work. If you swipe a finger on a car and leave a trail of "clean", your surface is too dirty, and should warrant at a minimum, a No Rinse Bath, with Optimum No Rinse Wash and Shine.
The FS UGE actually contains some Polymers which will add protection to your surface. Used regularly, it will lengthen the base coat (hopefully of UPP) durability.

Thanks Pat. I have the UPP. I'm looking forward to using it the next time i "wax" the car. Can I take the current poly off with the 4* paint cleaner? (have that already too) I have some VERY minor swirling on my NBP TL.

Thanks again

Absolutely, the UPC will work excellent. The SMR would be better suited for swirls though. The Body Shop line is slightly more aggressive also.........

Mind if I ask a quick question here? How do these products mentioned throughout the previous posts compare with a product like Zaino? I have been a fan of their products for the last couple years, but if there is a better product out there, DAMMIT, I wanna know about it. LOL.

Any input is appreciated. Thanks in advance,

Rob

No idea but these products arent as expensive as Zaino so if you wanted to give them a try then you wouldnt be losing much.
