I got my car tinted 2 days ago and I was wondering if it was okay to wash the exterior of the car. My concern is if it effects the tint curing or if there are any neggative effects. Thanks guys.

well the tint is on the inside of your car, so unless youre getting soap and water on the inside of your car while washing it, there wont be a problem.

Just dont roll them there winders down for a few days!
Also make sure you use an ammonia free window cleaner for cleaning them....

Sure, exterior washing can be done. Your tinters should have told you to not roll the windows down for 5-7 days in order for the film to cure. After that, wipe them with a moist MF towel. Pay heed to post #4 about the ammonia free cleaner. Try Stoners Invisible Glass.

 

thanks a lot guys. The tinter gave me all the post tinting talk about not rolling the windows down and watching out for the seatbelt hitting the glass. I'm not touching the interior for a week just to be safe.
